the floor.

Generic software doesn’t fit your trade.

Printavo was built for screen printers chasing t-shirt orders. CCC was built for collision shops with insurance billing. QuickBooks was built for everyone — which is to say, no one in particular.

None of them know what color batching, chemistry cost per job, or QP1 compliance actually look like on the floor.

So coaters live in spreadsheets. Whiteboards. Group texts. The work gets done, but margin leaks out everywhere — wrong quotes, missed reorders, jobs that lost money before the powder ever hit the rack.

SchiffOps is the answer. Built by someone who runs the floor. Configured at signup for your exact trade. No more bending your shop to fit your software.

Built on the floor. Run from the office. Owned by you.

Built by a coater, not sold to one.

Jim Schiffman runs a powder shop. Every feature came out of a real problem on a real floor. You’ll feel the difference in the first 10 minutes.

Three trades. Done excellently.

We focus on coatings and anodizing — trades that share customers, suppliers, and workflow DNA. We’re not building generic shop software. We’re building the best tool in three specific worlds.

Profit per job. In real time.

The numbers your accountant can’t pull from QuickBooks. Color cost, prep time, chemistry, energy, labor — all rolled into one honest number per job.

I built this for my own shop. Then other coaters started asking.

I’m Jim Schiffman. I’ve been in coatings since 2004 — most of those years selling them at the distribution level. The last three I’ve been on the sales side at an industrial coatings contractor, and the last two doing the same at a powder coating shop. From all three angles, the tools were broken. The shops I worked with duct-taped QuickBooks, Excel, and a whiteboard together and called it shop management.

So I started building. Color-batched run schedule. AI quoting that knows the prep time. Profit per job in real time. Bid spec reader for the contractors. Other operators saw it and asked when they could buy it. SchiffOps is the answer.
